ATTENTION

  • We will ONLY accept abstracts through the electronic submission system
  • All abstracts must be typed in English, according to the instructions found in this page.
  • Incomplete abstracts will not be accepted.
  • The presenting author must complete the contact details. Abstracts not accompanied by contact details will not be accepted for review.
  • Corrections will only be accepted UNTIL 10 days after the day you submit.
  • If your abstract is accepted, its publication will be reproduced directly from the typescript; therefore grammatical errors are responsibility of the authors.
  • No abstract presentation will be announced without full payment of registration fees to the meeting.
  • Form of presentation: Oral or ePoster. Although the panel of reviewers will decide the final form of presentation. Once the abstract is accepted, the author will receive the guidelines for the type of presentation selected.
  • There is no fee for submitting an abstract.
  • There is no limit to the number of abstracts you may submit.
  • Abstracts will be reviewed for conformity of format and scientific merit.
  • A qualified panel of reviewers will evaluate all submitted abstracts anonymously.
  • Abstracts MUST NOT have been presented previously in other national or international congress.

Once you submit your abstract, you will receive an email from the Congress Secretariat confirming reception of abstract and the Author Notification Date.

High quality abstracts will be awarded.

To submit an abstract, the author/s must attest to the fact that all clinical data or data on clinical material is consistent with the Principles of the Declaration of Istanbul and that executed prisoners were not the source of organs or tissues.

Submission Guidelines
  • Abstracts should not exceed 2500 characters with spaces in length or 1900 characters with spaces in length if tables, graphics/photos are included.
  • The title should not exceed 170 characters with spaces in length, should succinctly describe the paper and should not be in sentence form
  • PLEASE USE: Arial font and 12 point font.
  • The abstract presents the main points of the paper
  • Abstracts should be structured in the format: Background, Aim, Material and Methods, Results, Conclusion.
  • An introductory paragraph if pertinent, identifies the matter under presentation, presents background information, relevant statistics and employed methods.
  • The body of the abstract includes author’s data and their analysis.
  • The conclusions must be clear, not a mere repetition of the text and if pertinent suggest a role for ongoing studies and future directions.
  • Do not use references.
  • Leave one line between paragraphs.

RECOMMENDATION

  • For author contact do not include titles (Prof, Dr, etc), asterisks, numerals, affiliations or full stops.
  • Institution and country only from where the work is originated. Do not abbreviate.

NOTE

Presenting Authors of Accepted Abstracts are required to register for the Congress and are responsible for their own travel arrangements. Please take advantage of the Early Registration Fee by submitting your registration by April 3, 2011.

 

 

TRANSPLANTATION PROCEEDINGS - Call for Manuscript –

Transplantation Proceedings is pleased to announce that we will receive manuscripts for consideration for publication in conjunction with the 11th Congress of the International Society for Organ Donation and Procurement to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, November 27-30, 2011.

All authors whose abstracts were accepted for presentation and who confirmed their presentation at the Congress are allowed to submit a manuscript.

Please read and ensure that the manuscript to be submitted adheres to the Guidelines.
